Author: Amy Novesky
In addition to being a founder and Creative Director at Paper Hat Press, Amy Novesky is an independent children’s book editor, producer, and award-winning children's book author. A former editor with Chronicle Books in San Francisco, Amy has nearly 20 years of publishing experience, and has edited hundreds of books. Her clients include Cameron + Company, Goosebottom Books, and Kimochis (for whom she has written 5 books). Her own books include ELEPHANT PRINCE; ME, FRIDA, winner of the 2011 FOCAL award and a Pura Belpre Honor; GEORGIA IN HAWAII; and the forthcoming IMOGEN, LULLABY, and MISTER & LADY DAY.

Illustrator: Micah Player
Micah Player is a graphic designer and illustrator currently living in Costa Mesa, CA. Micah attended the School of Graphic Design at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. His work has been seen everywhere from Selfridges in London to Anthropologie as well as a little place called Target where he designed the branding for their Paul Frank line. He is the author and illustrator of the Around the World Puzzle and Chloe, Instead, both from Chronicle Books. He is cofounder and Creative Director of Lately, Lily, the international teeshirt brand for thoughtful little girls.
